The tiles clip together easily, and because it is flexible without being flimsy you can roll it up for quick storage.

The Rubberized Vinyl is a chessboard of rugged black & white vinyl tiles that are covered in rubber that simply click together. With room to pivot, the tiles can be rolled out quickly or stored easily. Notice in our photos how quickly the chess board can be moved from storage to it's playing location and back again. This is an important feature for resorts that need to clean under the chess board on a regular basis or move it from a semi-permanent location for other events.
We highly recommend finishing the chess board with the optional Safety Edge Ramps. The Safety Edge Ramps not only provide a finished edge to the chess board, but they are a major safety feature. The Edge Ramps angle down from the edge of the chess board to the surface of the gound, eliminating a potential trip and fall incident.
For commercial installations, this is a must.
