Qty is the total quantity per piece, black and white.
Each chess set ships with the regulation 32 pieces. Width is
the diameter of the widest part of the piece, measured in inches, and is
accurate to ±5%. Note that all foam MegaChess pieces are composed of two
parts, with the base part the same for all pieces. The thickness of the foam is
3½ inches for all pieces and the base. Height is the
distance from the base to the highest part of the piece, measured in inches,
and is accurate to ±5%. Weight is the weight of each
single piece including its base, accurate to ±5%. |

This is the cheapest chess set in the
world with a 4-foot king! |
One word: FUN ! |
If you want to inspire kids to play chess, you have to draw them
in. Few things will do that as well as an intellectual pillow fight.

Take a piece by kicking it across the room, or tossing it at your
opponent.
When planning a playing area, consider the minimum playing area as
a square 8 feet on a side with 1-foot chessboard squares.
Ideal for a child's room is our chess
blanket. For a school or club, our RolaBoard.
OK for outdoor use, but unlike most other
MegaChess sets designed to be left outdoor year round, this foam chess
set should sleep indoors.

Want these to to last longer in a tough environment (lots
of chimps)?
Spray paint them. Any color, any type of paint. It
strengthens their skin, gives them more UV protection if used outside or near
windows, and makes them stand up stiffer. Only drawback is they become a little
rougher to the touch. |
