Our website gets over 500,000 hits per month, and our parent company, Bizware Online Applications, Inc., has many years of search engine optimization experience, insuring top internet visibility for our products. We have a significant marketing budget for display ads in trade journals, booths at trade shows, website search engine keyword placement, purchased lead lists, and many other activities that yield sales leads that we share with our resellers. That is how we make the market, and then we turn it over to you, as long as you're an Authorized MegaChess Reseller.

We Don't Sell Direct

Unlike many online distributors, we do not sell direct to your customers. When you, as a logged-in reseller press a "Buy" button, you can buy from MegaChess. Anyone else, such as an end user, pushing the same "Buy" button gets the sales page of one of our resellers. When we drop ship to your customer, we can use our invoice or a shipper with no pricing info, your choice. Your customers can't buy from us.

Product Support

We have warehouses in the USA to serve you. That means we can drop-ship our largest chess set from us to your customer to arrive in days. Take a peek at our sales terms and conditions for one of the best warranties in the industry, a complete product refund if the customer is not satisfied.

We have also developed store display products with stunning curb appeal, like a 6-foot chess king to put near a store entrance way to draw from across the mall. Teak chess pieces as brochure and business card holders. Brochures in PDF format you can customize to be your brochures.

Pricing

What you see on the MegaChess website is recommended retail pricing. This is not boutique pricing. If you add value, you should charge more, and the market will bear it. Take the teak MegaChess set with the 3-ft tall king, for example. A woodworking shop will bid in the $20,000 range to make one out of a local wood without the beauty of teak. The City of Morrow Bay, CA is on record paying $30,000 for their 3-ft chess set, more than 10 times our price for that chess set out of solid teak. Note also that teak lumber sells for about $8/lb at your local hardwood store. With the 3-ft teak MegaChess set weighing about 900 lbs, that would be $7,200 in just raw materials, plus the scrap carved away. With that MegaChess set priced at less than one third of that, there is plenty of room for a price increase.

How We Pay You

We have the four different payment plans below. Depending on your situation, you may select one or more.

1. Margins - This is the standard approach for a retailer like a toy store. You buy MegaChess products for less than retail, the amount of that discount determined by the volume of your purchases over time. We will be happy to provide you that discount schedule after we accept your reseller application.
   
   
2. Commissions - This is the standard approach for a sales rep who writes up the order on our website instead of through their company's invoicing system. We will be happy to provide you the commission schedule after we accept your reseller application.

   Hourly Rate - We do occasionally contract sales services, typically to do some market development that will not immediately yield a sale. We can discuss this after we review your reseller application and the services you propose.
   
   
4. Co-Op Advertising - After we accept your reseller application, we can discuss subsidizing your advertising expenses. This can be a display ad that features MegaChess or even marketing services like telemarketing.
   
   

Our 2 Tracks

You can join the MegaChess team on one of two tracks, each with its own policies and reseller application.

Store In this track, you buy the product at a discount, and we deliver it to you, your customer, or any address you designate. What you charge and who you sell it to are your business. Salesperson In this track, you find the customer, and enter the sale using the MegaChess website. We sell the product for the recommended retail price, collect the money, and pay you a commission. You can view such sales online. Other sales people cannot. This track is ideal for specialists. This can be by market segment, for example, you focus on campgrounds, chess clubs, resorts, or some other segment where you know the answers.. This can also be by region, for example, you focus on all chess opportunities within a certain metropolitan area.
