Shipping chess sets this large takes a bit of creativity on our part. They are too heavy to go UPS or the US Postal Service. We rely on a collection of common carriers (trucking companies), and their rates are too complex to program into our ecommerce system.

If you fill out this Price Request Form, we can do the research to see what is the best shipping solution to where you are. We can usually do that quickly and have an answer to you within 24 hours. We will reply with a quote that includes the product price and the total shipping charge to you.

Our shipping charge to you is our cost from the carrier. We do not add a handling fee of any kind. If you have arrangements with a carrier of your own, feel free to use them and pay them directly. We are happy to charge you "Will Call" (zero shipping charge), and hand the chess set to the shipper you send.

We suggest a business address where someone is available to sign for the delivery during business hours. If no one is home to sign for it, the carrier will not leave your shipment. Because of the possibility of several such delivery attempts, most carriers charge extra to deliver to a home.
