Qty is the total quantity per piece, black and white. Each chess set ships with the regulation 32 pieces, plus the vinyl chessboard. Width is the diameter of the widest part of the base. Height is the distance from the base to the highest part of the piece. All dimensions are in inches. Weight is the weight of each single piece. All measurements are accurate to ±5%.

Although 8 inches is as small as a MegaChess set will go, it is still much larger than most chess sets.

Yes, you can weight these!: 1.) Find hole in base as soft spot in felt
2.) Poke a hole in felt with pencil
3.) Fill with fine sand. Enlarge hole with drill if in hurry.
4.) Drip household glue in hole.
5.) Let glue-sand mix dry to form hole plug.
