Our 3rd graders will be playing our 4th graders a most unusual game of chess. We will be giving life-sized chess a whole new meaning.

Local chess masters Bobby Smith and Mary Popov will be playing a real game, directing the kids to their squares. Each student will be reciting their lines with each move. 

Combine it with costumes if you wish. Hands are free for musical instruments, mime skits, etc.

If you want to inspire kids to play chess, give them something they will be talking about for weeks.
